I went to see my cardiologist on Monday (my OB sent me to see him). I am having problems with lightheadedness and faintness early in the mornings and really bad swollen ankles - thank you kiddo - I wore a heart monitor all day last Thursday, which let me assure you it is no fun being "wired" for 24 hrs, but thankfully all was normal. Dr. Hartley (the cardiologist) said for right now everything seems fine and dandy but if the symptoms become consistent (which they haven't been lately) then I am to come back and see him and I won't be allowed to drive YIKES! So me and the kiddo had a little chit chat about making mommy pass out...we can't have our driving priveleges revoked because somehow I have to get to work and Chick-fil-A of course! The doc gave me a portable (no wires) heart monitor to keep with me for a month. If I start feeling poorly or I start feeling my heart do weird things then I'm supposed to stick it up to my chest and hit record and then transmit it over the phone. Technology is great isn't it! He thinks maybe my heart is just missing a beat every now and then and so he wouldn't catch it in a 24 hr period.

On another note...Dr. Decker (the OB) says I have gained 6lbs since the start of my pregnancy and so far everything else is good. Our kiddo scares me all the time when we go in for our visits because the nurses have a hard time finding the heartbeat because someone is squirming so much :) I have felt the baby move in the past week ever so slightly. Normally it is at night when I get still and then s/he starts going to town. And I have officially started to have certain food cravings. It's so funny how my body let's me know what it needs. Generally I crave milk or something salty. It's so bizarre.
But......
We have 2 more days til our ultrasound and I am beside myself I'm so excited. If you haven't voted you better hurry up! Until Friday....I'm signing off as Daniel, Mandie & Baby (?)

that's a little scary, but I am glad that everything is okay. I can't wait to find out what you are having!
salty food huh? they say normally salty food means boy and that was right when I was pregnant with Brandon. Hopefully your little one isn't hard headed and will show itself Friday.
