Halfway There!

(I had to put this picture in to show how much Sheldon loves his Mommy & McKenzie)

pregnancy calendar

Today I am 20 weeks pregnant and officially halfway to our due date. Things are going swimmingly these days...literally for McKenzie. She has become quite the acrobatist in my tummy. My tummy is getting increasingly bigger and I mourn the loss of my hips daily :( I remind myself it's all for a good cause. McKenzie is about the size of a banana this week which is pretty cool considering she started out about the size of a poppy seed.

We have gotten into quite a routine here lately...everyone has actually. Daniel is up and at em at around 5 every morning at which point Sheldon, Ella and I roll over to say goodbye and go back to sleep. My alarm clock goes off at 7am at which point I try to hit the snooze but unfortunately McKenzie has learned all too quickly what that sound is and she starts a squirmin until I get up. Silly kid...she shouldn't be a morning person yet! We get ready for work while the dogs go out and play and then it's time to lock up at which point we say goodbye to Sheldon and Ella and head to work. Work is becoming a little more busy these days which is great and I'm finding my hormones are kicking into play. Sometimes McKenzie and I have the same reaction to the attitudes some people bring in! Then at 6 we head home and usually sit in traffic for about an hour at which point my patience for the day is becoming increasingly slim. We get home and Daniel usually has supper on the table for us and then it's relaxation time! My food cravings are becoming very odd and happen pretty often. The other day it was for a grilled cheese sandwich and french fries. Last week it was Mexican and today well I'm feeling pizza and tater tots! I do in all honestly eat pretty healthy and try to make sure I get my fruits and veggies in. I'm curious to know how much weight I've gained. And thankfully I have this weekend off of work after working for the past two weekends. It will be nice to actually sleep in for a change.

For the most part there's not a whole lot new down here in Savannah. We just try to stay cool in the blistering heat.

you look like you with a belly, so cute. I can't wait to see the babies room, what's the theme/colors?

The baby's room will be in pinks, greens and yellows. We are doing little birds. The bedding and everything is on our registry at www.potterybarnkids.com. I have a vision now I just need to get the bare room there LOL. It might take me a while so I'll get back with you!

Thanks for the update. I like your idea of comparing the present size of McKenzie between the banana and the coin. Great! The best is yet to come. Grandma
