Just an update....
Daniel's recruiting station is going to be Jonesboro, GA. We are excited to be close to home and our families. A lot has happened in the past few weeks - which is why there haven't been any updates. Daniel is finishing up his last week at Ft. Jackson this coming week and has done so well in the course. I am staying with my Mom and been busy with running errands and being a bum. After the stress of moving and decided what we should do etc...I needed a little break...and so did McKenzie. After Daniel graduates next Friday he will be back at Ft. Stewart for a few weeks clearing and then will head up to Atlanta and will have 30 days of leave before starting at the station. It will be nice having him with me for 30 days! Of course, he'll be home for Thanksgiving as well. We are still praying for a renter for our house in Savannah!
In new developments...McKenzie dropped Wednesday night around 10pm. I was laying in bed talking to Daniel when I felt her move. I was skeptical if I would be able to tell when she dropped into position BUT there was no doubt! I could finally breathe again!!!! I won't lie...as much as I love my daughter...I've been absolutely miserable with her in my ribs for weeks and weeks. I've been sleeping so well since then...probably catching up from the lack of sleep I've gotten lately due to being uncomfortable. I woke up Thursday morning with that "nesting" rush of OH NO I better get it into gear and finish all those little things I've been putting off! Then I calmed myself down and said "eh, those little things aren't necessary." I guess it's just the realization that we are that much closer to holding our daughter in our arms! I also figured out this week that the due date Daniel and I had originally estimated for McKenzie is the right one...December 20. The doctors still have it set at December 29. We shall see. I go for a check-up appointment on Tuesday. And I finally packed the hospital bag...took me long enough - well I procrastinated long enough I should say.
I will post new pictures and updates next week.
