Birdie Time

One of my "last minute" things I wanted to accomplish before McKenzie made her entrance was her bird mobile. I've made the whole thing from scratch and I'm very pleased with the finished product. It took me forever...I'm quite a procrastinator. I used the "red, black and white" so the colors will be stimulating to her.

In other news...I am officially FULL TERM according to the doctors. I hit 37 weeks on Monday. (meaning McKenzie is fully ready to make her debut) At my doctor's appointment Tuesday morning I received some exciting news. I am 1.5 centimeters dilated and 70% effaced...I guess she's getting ready in there. Contractions have picked up a bit mainly at night and subside during the day. I guess Daniel was right when he said she's going to come in the middle of the night...his guess is 4am. His theory is because she's an Army baby and that's when Daddy has to get up to go to work so she's already hard wired for that time LOL. He's still working on finishing up at Stewart and will hopefully be home this weekend and before McKenzie.
