McKenzie's first bath was quite an experience for us as much as it was for her. She LOVES to have her hair washed. Her eyes roll back in her head and her mouth falls open as she goes limp while I rub away. She wasn't too fond of the rest of the bath since she wasn't submerged and was cold. She just smells so darn good afterwards I could hold her close all night long.
Tonight was her first "real" bath since her umbilical cord is finally out. She wasn't too sure of it at first but seemed to like it...then it changed...and she really liked the warm water and the lights in the bathroom.
We have found out that she likes the sound of running water. It will calm her down in an instant if she's fussy. Not to mention her fascination with looking at herself in the mirror.
Well she's all ready for bed now - relaxed as she can be :)
