HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Thursday was Daniel's 26th Birthday! (he's officially over a quarter of a century old - hehe) Since this was the first birthday he's been on U.S. soil to celebrate in almost 4 years we thought we better celebrate well. The morning started off with waffles :) and lots of hugs and kisses from McKenzie (and me).

Then we were off to McKenzie's 1 month check-up appointment. Afterwards McKenzie and I took the best daddy in the world and the best most loving selfless husband in the world to his favorite place for dinner - the Texas Roadhouse.

We loaded him up with fresh rolls, ribs, the roadkill and sweet tea YUMMY! We then headed home and I baked his birthday cake: white cake with white icing upon his request. I decorated it and yes I put 26 candles on his cake even though he threatened me if I did but he loves me anyway :) (I did accidentally run out of icing so part of the backside of the cake was bare - whoopsie)

The family came over to help us celebrate and eat cake. He continuously received birthday messages all day which truly made his day. So here's to the Birthday Boy!
