I've fallen behind again but as McKenzie is starting to nap better I will try to update more.
McKenzie has begun to make some pretty hilarious faces. All I can do is laugh and try and figure out who she learned it from.
Besides crawling EVERYWHERE, she has been pulling up and standing all on her own...and probably thinking mmmm what can I get into next.
Because of the crawling, we have gotten a baby superyard to keep her contained and the doggies out. It's a nice compromise and saves a little more of my sanity throughout the day. The other night we made a tent and turned on Ladybug to reflect the stars on the blankets and read our books before bedtime.
Everything goes into her mouth. Today I had my first experience of her swallowing something - which I'm not quite sure what that something was. The only thing I have been able to deduct is doghair (eeeewwwwww) since there was nothing else swallowable near her.
Last Friday was Company Family Day...so McKenzie got to see where Daddy works, play at his desk and play with First Sargeant (whom she just loved).
And to add to the excitement, I've been repurposing an old desk of my Dad's and working on our back patio (that's not the exciting part). Well I had a little (uh em I mean BIG) visitor....yes it scared the bageebiz out me (and Daniel)! I did a duck and run but unfortunately it got into the house and my mighty husband (who was a little bit squemish) killed the booger! It turns out it was a European Hornet or in my case...an extremely DEADLY insect.
