So on that special trip

I took the passenger seat next to the hubs to accompany him to Ft. Stewart. He was doing all the pre-op for his lasik surgery. No dates have been set as of yet - just fyi. We left the girl in good hands with Granna and LoLo for the two days and off we went. This is the first time we've taken a trip away from her...it was thrilling and sad all at the same time.


We stayed in Army lodging for the first time this trip...and can I just say nIIIIiiicccceee! The price was definetely nice but the rooms were super nice. Thanks Stewart lodging! After his eye appointment, we drove to Savannah and ate at the Texas Roadhouse (our favorite) and walked the mall. OHHHHH the MEMORIES! When we got back, which was late, like 11:00pm late, we crashed! We're parents to a toddler...we generally go to bed pretty early considering she rises pretty early :) On our way out of town, we ran by and checked on the house.


All in all it was a quick little getaway, with eye pulling and dilating, etc etc., but a nice little break...all thanks to the Army (wink wink). And the girl...you might be wondering...well she was so spoiled rotten she didn't even notice we were gone!
