Words cannot really express the agony my heart has felt over the past few days for Rachel and Erik Brake. They are a couple in our Sunday School class whom we have gotten to know over the past months and rejoice with them in their pregnancy. However, at 37 weeks pregnant, baby Weston was diagnosed with a rare heart defect. On August 29 he came into this world, fighting for his life. The Lord has used this sweet angel in so many ways in his short life and still is. He went home to be with Jesus on Friday evening in the arms of his mother and father. As a mother, my heart is breaking for her and the emptiness she must feel. Today, we were able to share with them as they said goodbye to little baby Weston Lee Brake.
