It's official we are rolling along (meaning I've been given the A-OK to spill the beans) - Daniel is off to recruiting! A few weeks ago he received orders to report to recruiting school. We weren't sure if the orders would stick or not since the 3-69 soldiers are in a sense "untouchable" at the moment since they are on hurricane watch. The orders stuck and he received official confirmation and is set to go to into recruiting. This is only something God can pull off! Daniel will leave and be at Fort Jackson, SC from October 6 - November 21. He will get to request his top three places to recruit out of but won't know where we will be sent until the second week in November. He has to report January 12 to his new post (wherever that may be). I'm sure you are all thinking...hmmmm...McKenzie? Yes, this is going to be an interesting time since I will be entering my 3rd trimester soon and she is due in December. We will be moving right around the holidays and when she is due to make her entrance. Right now we are just trying to prepare as much as we possibly can with the little information we have. It's just our Army life...I guess we're breaking McKenzie in right from the start LOL. We are so thankful for the opportunity to go into recruiting, knowing that it is a 3 year duty assignment (meaning no deployments whoohooo!), and a possibility of moving back home. We understand how hard it may be and that he will be working long hours but like any other job there are obstacles to overcome. Please pray with us as we seek to follow the Lord and trust in Him.
Our specific requests:
1. That we will be able to sell our house within a month or two
2. I will be able to continue working while Daniel is gone even being THAT pregnant or until the house sells
3. Daniel's duty station will be in the Peachtree City, McDonough area
4. To find a new house to rent or buy quickly and move right after Thanksgiving
5. McKenzie will be happy and healthy whenever she comes
6. Daniel will do well in recruiting school!

I know this is wonderful news, and I know we haven't gotten to spend much time together, but I was holding out hope. I am sad to know you will be leaving, but happy that you guys are happy. Congrads!
