We are preparing and waiting to see where Hurricane Hanna is going to end up. As of right now it's headed right for us by Friday afternoon. Daniel and I are working on our evacuation route, plan and what to do if it comes our way.
In the meantime, McKenzie has been keeping me on my toes or at least "sea sick." She's been moving around so much like a little hurricane this past week that she's made me a bit nauseous at times. Up until the past few days she's been sitting really low in between my hips but Sunday she decided to put her feet up in my ribs and then do a complete circle all the way around my tummy. This made sitting in church interesting. Our little girl is 23 weeks old this week: 11 inches long, weighs a little over a pound (the weight of a large mango), the blood vessels in her lungs are developing and her hearing is picking up on all those loud sounds. She knows who Daddy is and reacts to his voice and his touch. If Daniel says her name and puts his hand on my stomach she starts to squirm. She'll kick him where his hand is...which is really amazing. I guess she's already a Daddy's Girl.
