YES, I took advantage of eating for two...and had two Thanksgiving dinners this year :) Daniel and I were so blessed to be able to spend the holiday with our family this year. We started off the morning with apple cinnamon muffins which were delicious! Then we got to work making hashbrown casserole for dinner with the Stallings and then the apple pie for dinner with my Mom's side of the family. We had such a feast! The list includes cajun fried turkey (2 to be exact), hashbrown casserole, macaroni and cheese, dressing, green bean casserole, rolls, corn, etc etc. We ate and ate and ate some more. This year was a milestone...the Stallings family was ALL together for the first time in 5 years. It brought joy to my heart sitting at the table looking around seeing everyone together. After dinner I took a little nap on the couch - McKenzie and I were tired :)
Later Daniel and I drove down to my Aunt's house for Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed another wonderful meal with baked turkey this go round. I always enjoy spending time with family catching up. Hopefully I will get to spend some time with my Dad and sister really soon since we didn't get to see them on Thanksgiving.
On Friday morning Daniel went hunting with his dad and brother but to no avail - sorry guys. Later we went to Steak n Shake for lunch and out shopping for a bit (once all the crowds had died down). After dark we headed home to decorate for Christmas while enjoying White Christmas on the tv. All the festivities of the week wore me slap out as I spent most of Saturday curled up in the bed sound asleep. I love this time of year! Maybe we'll have a White Christmas ourselves and a baby too!

That turkey looked so good! I loved fried turkey, especially the skin. I always want one, but am too scared to cook it.
Sounds like Tday was fun.
