Snack Time & Playtime

Are the BEST times! McKenzie has gotten into a pretty good schedule these days...which is a good thing and sometimes a bad thing (like when you take her out of it - not so good). Here's a sample of what happens in our day.

Wake up around 8:30
She nurses really quickly and then it's off to change the diaper
Cartoon time in the jumper (she really likes the sprout channel)
Snack time - cereal and fruit while Mommy eats her breakfast (around 9:30ish)
A little more playtime on the floor
It's naptime at 10am!
Wide awake ready to eat around 12:30
It's off to the living room for some more playtime
Mommy eats her lunch and gives McKenzie some fresh fruit to munch on(around 1:30ish)

Back to playing (she rides around in her laundry basket, we read books, go outside for a bit, etc)
She goes down for another nap around 3ish
Wakes up and it's more playtime (and eating time) until Daddy gets home
We eat dinner as a family
McKenzie gets her bath and gets ready for bed
She nurses to sleep around 8:30.
Mommy & Daddy have some time
The end.

We are trying to feed her more these days. She's got another bottom tooth coming in bringing the count to 5! And with these new teeth comes the biting...it's awful! I'm trying to stop that now. She's also crawling and moving everywhere and pulling up on just about everything. She at least makes it to her knees if not her feet.

Daniel had to lower the crib the other day too. He went in there to check on her during her nap only to find her head hanging over the crib because she had figured out how to stand up.

And some of her favorite things:

the mirror (this face cracked me up!)

her baby doll(or rather the tag- she looks at me like "it's the best part Mom!)

playing with daddy

I also found this classic Winnie the Pooh tent at a consignment shop a few weeks ago and I thought maybe she wasn't quite old enough yet BUT I came out of the kitchen the other day to find this...
