My Hooter Hider

A.K.A my nursing wrap. The other night I was talking with a good friend of mine about "baby necessities" and this was one item she told me I needed to have. I started doing some searching online for some really cute ones but they were all kind of pricey. Upon inspection it really didn't look too hard to make and I found a pattern and a "how to" blog today and took it upon myself to try. After work I ran to the craft store and bought the supplies (fabric, d-rings and boning) and came home to set up the sewing machine. Keep in mind I haven't used my sewing machine well since....never LOL. It was the perfect excuse to put it to use. It took me a few hours but I chalked that up to my perfectionism and my lack of sewing skills BUT I finished it. I absolutely love it...and I did it myself. I will definetely be making some more. The best part is I made it for about $8.00 which sure beats the $35 online. I enjoyed my night behind the sewing machine...it was really relaxing. Up next...a mei tai carrier (but it's a little more complicated so I'll wait for my Mom's help on that one).

Thanks Jasmine for all the helpful hints!

Great job! Isn't that a neat feeling knowing you did it yourself?? It looks like the material matces what you're looking at for the cradle set. That wouldl make cute bumper pads and stuff ! - Mom
